The Zabbix Conference Benelux 2024 was held from 23th May until the 25th May 2024 in Utrecht.
This year the upcoming release of Zabbix 7.0 was noticeably one of the main subjects in the majority of talks. This 7.0 release is also a release where lots of people are waiting for.
Some subjects of these new functions mentioned are:
- Zabbix Proxies
- Zabbix High Available (and load balancing) Proxies
- Zabbix multi factor authentication (MFA)
- Browser monitoring in Zabbix 7.0
- Zabbix Ansible Collection
- zabbix_utils (python library)
And of course much more!
For me it were 3 days crammed full with new information and new insights on using Zabbix (with a focus on Zabbix 7.0).
The release date of Zabbix 7.0 wasn’t mentioned yet, but the people of Zabbix were nice enough to say that it at least is narrowed down to June 2024!
